Acceptable Use Policy

MissionPeak (“MissionPeak”, “Siddhatek”, “we,” “our”, or “us”) is a community platform designed to help people connect around outdoor activities, wellness, and shared interests. To maintain a safe, respectful, and trustworthy environment, all users (“you,” “your”) must follow this Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) when accessing or using the MissionPeak mobile application, website, and related services (“Services”).

By using MissionPeak, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in content removal, account restrictions, or permanent suspension.

1. Community Principles

MissionPeak is built on four core values:

  • Respect — Treat others with dignity and kindness.
  • Safety — Keep interactions safe, lawful, and responsible.
  • Authenticity — Be honest about who you are and how you engage.
  • Connection — Use MissionPeak to build positive, meaningful community experiences.

These principles guide all rules below.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use MissionPeak to engage in any of the following:

2.1 Illegal or Harmful Activities

  • Violating any applicable law or regulation
  • Organizing or participating in activities that ignore required permits or land-use regulations
  • Promoting or participating in violence, self-harm, or dangerous activities
  • Sharing content that encourages illegal behavior
  • Trespassing or organizing activities in restricted or unsafe areas

2.2 Harassment, Abuse, or Discrimination

You may not:

  • Bully, threaten, or harass other users
  • Engage in hate speech or discriminatory behavior based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any protected characteristic
  • Stalk or target individuals with unwanted contact
  • Create hostile or unsafe environments in groups or events

2.3 Inappropriate or Offensive Content

You may not post or share:

  • Pornographic, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive content
  • Graphic violence or disturbing imagery
  • Content intended to shock, offend, or provoke
  • Spam, scams, or misleading information

2.4 Impersonation or Misrepresentation

You may not:

  • Pretend to be another person or entity
  • Misrepresent your identity, skills, or intentions
  • Create fake accounts or use multiple accounts to manipulate interactions

2.5 Safety Risks in Outdoor Activities

Because MissionPeak focuses on outdoor experiences, you may not:

  • Organize or promote unsafe activities
  • Provide misleading or inaccurate trail, weather, or safety information
  • Encourage others to engage in activities beyond their skill level
  • Host events without proper safety considerations

Organizers must not represent themselves as professional guides, instructors, or safety authorities unless they hold recognized professional credentials for the activity in question.

Users are responsible for their own safety and must exercise judgment when participating in outdoor activities.

2.6 Unauthorized Commercial Use

You may not:

  • Use MissionPeak run commercial promotion, advertising, or selling products/services unless expressly authorized from MissionPeak.
  • Send unsolicited promotional messages
  • Run surveys, contests, or fundraising campaigns without authorization

2.7 Interference with the Platform

You may not:

  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the Services
  • Scrape, harvest, or collect data without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to access non-public areas of the platform
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code

3. User-Generated Content Responsibilities

You are responsible for all content you post, including:

  • Messages
  • Photos and videos
  • Group descriptions
  • Event listings
  • Comments and reactions

You must ensure your content:

  • Is accurate and lawful
  • Does not infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Respects the privacy and safety of others

MissionPeak may remove or restrict content that violates this AUP.

4. Reporting Violations

We encourage users to report:

  • Harassment or abusive behavior
  • Safety concerns
  • Fake accounts
  • Inappropriate content
  • Violations of this AUP

Reports can be submitted through in-app tools or by contacting MissionPeak Support.

MissionPeak may take action at its discretion, including:

  • Warning the user
  • Removing content
  • Restricting features
  • Suspending or terminating accounts

5. Enforcement & Consequences

MissionPeak reserves the right to:

  • Investigate suspected violations
  • Remove content without notice
  • Suspend or terminate accounts
  • Notify law enforcement when required

MissionPeak may take action based on reports of off-platform behavior
that affects the safety of the community.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of MissionPeak constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

7. Account Deletion and Content Removal

When you delete your account, your personal information will be removed from MissionPeak’s active systems within 30 days and backup systems within 90 days. Content shared with or received by other users may remain visible to them after deletion. Certain data may be retained where required by law or to resolve disputes.

To remove specific content, do so manually before requesting deletion. To delete your account, go to Settings > Account > Delete Account or contact MissionPeak Support.
